What do I need to do to go on a trip?
For any trip abroad, you will need a passport. Some countries we visit require visas as well. You will need to send in an application, health questionnaire and provide a deposit to secure your spot. Discounts are offered for early registration.
What day should I arrive and leave?
The first and last days of each trip are travel days for arriving and departing.
For example, if the trip is January 9th-20th, you should book your flight for you to arrive on the 9th and leave on the 20th---unless you would like to extend your trip for solo travel.
How do I apply?
Download our application and health form here. Fill them both out and send it to Corazon Journeys via email (at email@example.com) or mail them to PO Box 10780, Spokane, WA 99209.
How should I pay for the trip?
We recommend you send a check written to Corazon Journeys and mail it to PO Box 10780, Spokane, WA 99209. You can pay with a card, but it will take extra fees to process the card. Call Debbie at 509-714-8928 if you would prefer to pay with this method.
Who leads the trips?
Debbie DuPey is the founder of Corazon Journeys and at this time leads all trips. Learn more about her here. For some trips she partners with others who have a connection to the trip destination. On each trip flyer, there will be more information about who the leadership and partners. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
Will I have time to explore on my own?
Each trip will have room in the itinerary to take time for yourself to do other activities or to explore where we are. The amount of time varies for each trip. Contact us for itinerary details to check out the specifics if that has not already been sent out to you.
I have applied, now what do I do? What should I expect?
One you have applied, and sent your deposit, we will reach out to you and provide the next steps. We will send you country resources to prepare you for your journey, including suggested packing and reading lists.
What is your refund policy?
Trip costs beyond the deposit can be refunded up to 90 days before departure (unless otherwise defined.) Participants are required to purchase travel insurance to cover any disruptions in their travel plans.
